These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by The Serendipity Den (referred to herein as "we," "us," or "The Serendipity Den"). By booking or engaging any service offered through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.

Services Offered

The Serendipity Den offers the following services: Astrology, Feng Shui, Reiki, Deep Energy Healing, Intuitive Reading, and Spirit Connection (Mediumship). Services are delivered primarily online via video call, with occasional in-person Feng Shui site visits available to locally based clients by prior arrangement.

Booking & Payment

All sessions must be booked in advance through our booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your appointment. Your session is not confirmed until payment has been received. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Delivery Timeframes

For services that include a written report or analysis, the following timeframes apply:

• Astrology Reports — delivered within 10 business days of receiving full payment and all required birth data.
• Feng Shui Reports — delivered within 21 business days of receiving full payment and all required information, including photographs and floor plans of the premises.
• Live Sessions — Reiki, Deep Energy Healing, Intuitive Reading, Spirit Connection, are scheduled by mutual agreement via email within 5 business days of payment confirmation.

We will notify you promptly if exceptional circumstances require an extension to these timeframes.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that life sometimes requires a change of plans. The following policy applies across all session-based services:

Refund Policy

We operate the following refund policy depending on the service engaged:

• Astrology & Feng Shui — No refund is available once payment has been made. These services involve significant preparation time prior to the session or report delivery.
• Reiki, Deep Energy Healing, Intuitive Reading & Spirit Connection — A full refund will be issued if you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled session time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or non-attendance, are not eligible for a refund.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible experience, clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking (including birth data for Astrology and photographs or floor plans for Feng Shui), joining sessions punctually via the agreed video call platform, and engaging with our services in good faith and with respectful conduct. We reserve the right to end a session without refund if a client behaves in a manner that is abusive, threatening, or disrespectful.

Intellectual Property

All written reports, recordings, content, and materials produced by The Serendipity Den are the intellectual property of Ivana Meyer. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared publicly, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. By engaging our services, you agree that any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Serbia. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the consumer protection laws of your own country of residence.

The Serendipity Den is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. This policy is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable international data protection standards.

Session notes and correspondence are retained for a maximum of two years following your last interaction with us, after which they are securely deleted. Non-Predictive Nature of Our Services

Astrology maps potential and tendency; it does not determine fate. Mediumship and Intuitive Reading offer connection and insight; they are not infallible oracles. Respect for Sensitive Information

Many of our services touch on deeply personal areas of life — relationships, grief, health, purpose, and spiritual wellbeing. We approach all such disclosures with the utmost care, compassion, and non-judgement. Clients are never obligated to share more than they feel comfortable with.

Boundaries Around Vulnerable Clients

We recognise that clients sometimes come to us during periods of significant emotional difficulty, grief, or personal crisis. While we hold space with compassion and care, our services are not a substitute for professional mental health support, medical care, or crisis intervention. If we believe a client's wellbeing requires professional support beyond what we can ethically offer, we will gently say so and encourage appropriate referral. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a session if we feel it is not in the client's best interest to proceed.

No Discrimination

The Serendipity Den welcomes all individuals regardless of age (18 years and over), gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or background. We do not offer services to minors without the consent and presence of a parent or legal guardian.

Honest Representation

We will always represent our skills, experience, and the nature of our services honestly. We do not claim to diagnose illness, predict specific future events, guarantee outcomes, or possess abilities beyond what is ethically supportable. Any results discussed are based on our genuine professional perception and the traditions we practise within.

Scope of Practice

No specific outcome, result, or prediction is guaranteed. The future is not fixed, and all guidance offered reflects possibility and potential, not certainty.

Personal Responsibility

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and of your own free will. You accept full personal responsibility for any decisions, actions, or changes you make in your life following a session or as a result of guidance received. The Serendipity Den and its practitioners shall not be held liable for any outcomes, decisions, or consequences arising from the use of our services.

Medical & Psychological Matters

Our services — including Reiki and Deep Energy Healing — are complementary practices and are not a substitute for medical treatment, diagnosis, or professional psychological support. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Engaging our services does not replace, delay, or conflict with professional medical advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Serendipity Den shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services or reliance on any information provided. Our total liability in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
